Lien Foundation In 2006, partnering Singapore Hospice Council (SHC), the Lien Foundation created the first-ever doctors' and nurses' hospice and palliative care scholarships and fellowships in Singapore, and championed an inaugural campaign to raise public awareness of hospice palliative care in Singapore. Of the S$2m funding provided by Lien Foundation to SHC, $1.2m has been channeled to the scholarships and fellowships, while the remaining S$800,000 has been channeled to public awareness efforts.
