Medical crises can affect us or our loved ones unexpectedly. When they happen, people are often at a loss, and saddled with stress as well as the burden of decision-making. The dilemma and stress from having to make medical decisions for your loved ones in times of crisis can be avoided with Advance Care Planning (ACP). ACP is the process of expressing one’s values and preferences in the event one is mentally incapacitated and unable to make decisions for oneself. Find out how ACP can help reduce the stress and burden of decision making of loved ones.

In this two-hour session, you will be introduced to concepts of ACP – what the process entails as well as where you may turn to for more information. There will also be a card game to help the audience explore their own values.
