Medical crises can affect us or our loved ones unexpectedly. When they happen, people are often at a loss, and saddled with stress as well as the burden of decision-making. Advance care planning is the process of expressing one’s values and preferences in the event one is mentally incapacitated and unable to make decisions for oneself. It is a gift of love to our family. Find out how advance care planning can help reduce the stress and burden of decision- making of loved ones.

In this 2-hour session, you will be introduced to concepts of advance care planning, what the process entails as well as where you may turn to for more information. There will be a fun-filled card game to help the audience explore their own values.
