Exhibition: “Live Well. Leave Well.” Campaign

Mon, 1 Oct 2018 - Sun, 7 Oct 2018

Ang Mo Kio Public Library

by Singapore Hospice Council
Language: English

This exhibition is organized by Singapore Hospice Council (SHC), an umbrella body representing all organisations that actively provide hospice and palliative care in Singapore.

Palliative care aims to relieve suffering and improve quality of life for patients and their family members by caring for the “whole-person” physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. Visitors will gain a better understanding on how palliative care can bring comfort and healing to patients and caregivers and the various types of care provided.

SHC also launches their first illustrated Lifebook called “Lawrence of Arabia”. The book will help readers understand more about palliative care, celebrate the lives of palliative care patients and the legacies they leave behind. The book, published in both English and Chinese, are available to the public for borrowing at all libraries from November 2018. An eBook version will also be available at our website.
